    Henderson Group plc wishes to confirm that shareholders on the register at 5.00pm today,
the Record Date, will be entitled to a dividend
in respect of the six months ended 30 June 2008 of 1.85 pence per ordinary share. 

    For holders of CHESS Depositary Interests (CDIs), the A$ or the NZ$ equivalent will be
3.943432 cents* (Australia) and 4.835924 cents*
(New Zealand) per CDI respectively.

    The dividend will be paid on 26 September 2008.


    The timetable is as follows:

    Processing recommences for requests by CDI holders to
    convert CDIs into ordinary shares and by ordinary
