Old Mutual South Africa Trust plc (the "Company")



Interim Dividend: Date of Payment



The Board of the Company wish to announce that, following a Board meeting held
today, it has been resolved that the payment date for the interim dividend of
1.96 pence per share (as announced on 15 January 2007) should be bought forward
to Friday, 9 February 2007.  This interim dividend is in respect of the
Company's retained revenue reserves, which represents an aggregate amount equal,
as nearly as practicable, to the retained revenue reserves as at 31 August 2006.


The record date of 26 January 2007 remains unchanged.
