    DISPOSAL OF INVESTMENT PROPERTY


    The Board announces that, on 20 June 2008, the Company exchanged contracts to sell the
Lion Walk Shopping Centre, Colchester, for £69.0
million, gross of rental guarantees which are not expected to exceed £865,000. This compares
with a valuation of £68.7 million as at 31
March 2008. The sale completed on 18 July 2008.

    Further information will be provided with the interim results for the period ended 30 June
2008.
