    Board Change

    Wagon plc ("the Company"), the European automotive components group, announces the
following change to the Board of Directors.

    Richard Cotton, Group Finance Director, will step down as a director and leave the Group
on Friday 31 October 2008, in order to take up
the position of Group Finance Director at The Vitec Group plc, the listed supplier of
equipment and services to the broadcasting,
entertainment and photographic industries.

    An interim external candidate will be appointed as Group Finance Director pending the
recruitment of a permanent appointee to the role.

Further details will be announced in due course.

    Chris Clark, Chairman, said "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Richard for his
significant contribution to the Group over the
last three and a half years, which has included overseeing several major transactions and
refinancing. We all wish him well for the future".
