Appointment of Group Finance Director
Acertec is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Cook, ACA, as Group
Finance Director, effective 1 May 2008.
Jonathan, aged 50, is a widely experienced Finance Director who has enjoyed a
successful career in both publicly quoted and private equity backed industrial
companies. Most recently, before taking a planned career sabbatical, he was from
2004 to 2006 Group Finance Director of Wyko Holdings Limited, one of the UK's
largest industrial products distributors. Between 2000 and 2003 Jonathan was
Group Finance Director and Operations Director of Universal Salvage plc and from
1990 to 2000 Group Finance Director of PTS Group plc, the then listed plumbing
and heating merchant.
Jonathan replaces Rod Holdsworth, who has been Interim Group Finance Director of
Acertec since November 2007.

in businesses in a range of industrial and engineering sectors. We look forward
to benefiting from this experience as we take Acertec forward.

There are no other matters in relation to Jonathan Cook's appointment to
disclose under Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM rules.
