Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), the rapidly growing bioscience company that
markets antibodies via its own online catalogue, announces that it was notified
on 2 November 2009 that Tim Dye, a non-executive director of the Company,
bought 2,500 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company on 2 November 2009
at a price of 941p per ordinary share. Following this transaction Mr Dye has an
interest in 2,500 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company.
