    Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc ('JLT') announces that it has been advised that on 10th
September 2008 the Trustees of the JLT All
Employee Share Plan ("the Plan") allocated shares to each of the following Directors of
JLT/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
('PDMR') as set out below:

    These shares have been acquired by way of market purchase at a price of 451.75p.
    The Plan is an Inland Revenue approved All Employee Share Ownership Scheme.
    The Trustees have purchased a total of 6,893 JLT shares by way of market purchase at
451.75p per share on the same date on behalf of
directors and employees of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group including certain UK subsidiary
companies. This includes the shares allocated to the
aforementioned individuals.
