("BNS" or the "Company")
Grant of Options to a Director
BNS announces that on 3 December 2007 options to subscribe for 600,000 new
Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 1.2 per cent. of the Company's
issued share capital, were granted to Andrew Goldwater, the Group's Finance
Director, at a price of 27p per share.
The exercise of the options is dependent upon the achievement of increases in
earnings per share ("EPS") averaging 10 per cent. per annum measured over a
three year period relative to a reference level for EPS for the year ending 31
July 2007. The options may be exercised between 3 and 10 years from the date of
grant, in no less than two tranches of 300,000 shares. The EPS reference level
for the year ended 31 July 2007 is 3.0p per share.
Following this grant of options, Mr Goldwater will hold options over 675,000
Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 1.3 per cent. of the Company's
issued share capital.
