    Changes to external appointments for Non-Executive Director


    Jn Dormann

    As required by the UKLA Listing Rules*, BG Group announces it has received notification
from Jn Dormann, a Non-Executive Director of the
Company, that he retired from the Board of IBM with effect from 29 April 2008 and also retired
from the Board of Sanofi-Aventis SA with
effect from 14 May 2008. Jn Dormann joined IBM in February 2005 and Sanofi-Aventis SA in
August 2004.

    Mr Dormann has also notified the Company that he was appointed as Chairman of Metall Zug
AG at its Annual General Meeting on 9 May
2008.

    Jn Dormann was appointed as a non-executive Director of BG Group plc on 1 June 2005.
