Dick's Financial Chief Departs
August 12 2016 - 10:50AM
Dow Jones News
Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. said Teri List-Stoll is no longer
chief financial officer and that André Hawaux, the company's chief
operating officer, will fill the role on an interim basis until a
successor is found.
The retailer made the announcement in a filing with government
regulators, days before it is scheduled to report its
second-quarter earnings on Aug. 16.
Dick's Sporting Goods didn't provide any further details about
Ms. List-Stoll's departure or its timing. A company representative
wasn't available for immediate comment.
Mr. Hawaux, 55 years old, who has been chief operating officer
since August 2015, previously was financial chief. Before joining
Dick's, he was president of consumer foods and chief financial
officer at ConAgra Foods Inc. Before that, he was financial chief
for Pepsi-Cola North America and Pepsi International's China
business unit.
For the first quarter, Dick's reported strong sales growth but
offered a downbeat assessment for the remainder of the year as it
contends with closeout sales from rivals.
Dick's shares edged 0.5% higher to $54.87 in early trading.
