Diageo Voluntarily Recalls Some Smirnoff Ice, Mixed Drinks in Canada

Diageo PLC (DEO, DGE.LN) is voluntarily recalling some of its
bottled drinks in Canada after discovering an issue with the
bottles that may cause glass fragments to break off and fall
inside.
The recall applies to some 330 ml glass Smirnoff Ice bottles and
4-pack, 12-pack and individual bottle packages sold in Canada
starting July 24. For a full list of the drinks and lots recalled,
consumers can check the company's website.
Diageo said it hadn't received any complaints from
consumers.
Consumers are asked to call 866-915-5949 or email
smirnoffice@consumer-care.net to arrange reimbursement.
