FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Telekom AG. is considering bidding
for, or forming a strategic relationship with African telecom company MTN Group
Ltd., the online version of Business Standard reported.
According to banking sources, Deutsche Telekom is one of two companies
considering entering talks with the group, the other being Russian Vimpel
Communications.
A spokesman declined to comment to Thomson Financial News partner dpa-AFX.
