FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- Deutsche Bank AG (DB) is confident it can maintain a Tier 1 capital ratio above 10% in the future despite likely higher regulatory capital requirements and increased risk weighted assets as the bank takes over Sal Oppenheim Group, Chief Financial Officer Stefan Krause said Thursday.
Krause was speaking on a call with analysts following the release of Deutsche Bank's third-quarter earnings.
Deutsche Bank's Tier 1 ratio increased to 11.7% at the end of the quarter from 10.3% a year ago.
The move further diminishes analyst speculation that the bank might need to raise fresh capital.
