In this role, Snowden will be responsible for all communications activities, including employee communications; customer communications; financial communications; media relations; digital communications; and social media.

Snowden joins Argo Group from Natixis Global Asset Management where he served as senior vice president of public relations for the U.S. and the company’s global affiliates. Prior to joining Natixis in 2012, Snowden held several roles at the Hartford Financial Services Group serving as the head of corporate media relations and as the head of public relations for the company's insurance operations. From 1993 to 2008, Snowden held communications and public affairs positions at USAA—ultimately serving as executive director of public affairs from 2006 to 2008.

Snowden received his bachelor’s degree in communications from Incarnate Word College and a master’s degree in organizational communications from St. Mary’s University. He is also accredited in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America.
