LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Danka Business Systems Plc. said members'
voluntary liquidation will not be proposed at its AGM, as planned earlier, as it
has been unable to obtain the necessary regulatory clearances.
However, it plans to convene an EGM as soon as possible to consider a
resolution to enter a members' voluntary liquidation.
On Sept. 19, Danka said that in light of the amount of net cash held by the
company and the steps which may be taken under applicable law by the holders of
the participating shares, this represents the only realistic prospect of holders
of shares obtaining a return from the company's net cash.
