FRANKFURT--Daimler AG (DAI.XE) said it is recalling 114,000 Mercedes-Benz cars in Germany because defective sealing in some of the cars' motors could lead to oil leakage.

The recall affects Mercedes-Benz cars and vans equipped with four-cylinder diesel engines and produced between February and November 2014, the carmaker said.

Daimler said it had notified the relevant customers and that the cars would be repaired at the company's expense.
