Item 8.01            Other Events

On October 17, 2016, the Board of Directors of Accuride Corporation (the “Company”) distributed a letter to the shareholders of the Company related to the proposed merger contemplated by the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated September 2, 2016, by and among the Company, Armor Parent Corp. and Armor Merger Sub Corp. (such merger, the "proposed transaction" and such agreement, the "Merger Agreement"). The Company also issued a press release announcing the distribution of such letter. A copy of the press release which included the letter is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

Important Additional Information
