ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
American Campus Communities, Inc. (NYSE:ACC), the largest owner, manager and developer of high-quality student housing properties in the U.S., today released leasing results for the 2016-2017 academic year in connection with 2016 National Multifamily Housing Council ("NMHC") Student Housing Conference, which will begin on September 28, 2016. A copy of such information is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
