American Campus Communities, Inc. (NYSE:ACC), the largest owner, manager and developer of high-quality student housing properties in the U.S., today released an interim leasing update for the 2015-2016 academic year in connection with the Interface Student Housing Conference held in Austin, TX, April 8 – 10, 2015.  A copy of such information is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

Properties not owned or under ACC management during the prior year are excluded for purposes of calculating the prior year percentage of rentable beds and final fall 2014 occupancy.
