CuraScript Pharmacy Signs Contract With Genentech For Distribution of
RAPTIVA(TM)
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CuraScript Pharmacy, Inc., the
leading national specialty pharmacy, announced today that it has been selected
by Genentech, Inc. to be a participating pharmacy in the Specialty Pharmacy
Limited Distribution Network for RAPTIVA(TM) (efalizumab), a new biologic
treatment for chronic moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in adults age 18 or
older.
RAPTIVA, co-developed by Genentech and XOMA Ltd. (NASDAQ:XOMA) in the United
States, was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on October
28. RAPTIVA will be available through CuraScript Pharmacy for patients who are
prescribed this treatment by their physicians.
