Retired Lt. General to also address the value of leadership and professionalism for warfighters

Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB), today announced that retired U.S. Army Lt. General Frank Wiercinski, senior vice president and managing director of the Asia-Pacific region, will be a keynote speaker on the need for interoperability in mission command at TechNet Korea 2017, held at the War Memorial of Korea Museum in Seoul, South Korea on April 24 – 28, 2017. Sponsored by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Seoul Chapter, TechNet Korea is the largest combined defense and technology exposition held on the Korean peninsula. The three-day conference features speeches, panel discussions, technology demonstrations and training sessions addressing the challenges impacting modern warfighting, national security and intelligence.

“To achieve operational effectiveness, there is an increased need for interoperability given the exponential development and speed of intelligence, analysis, decision making and execution – particularly in mission command,” said Wiercinski. “It’s imperative that systems, units and forces are able to quickly and seamlessly work together in order to maximize our capabilities and establish force integration.”

Wiercinski will address the following topic at the keynote luncheon:

  • Interoperability: Success to OperationsWednesday, April 26, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. (local time); Korean War Memorial Museum Wedding Hall, Seoul, South Korea

In addition, Wiercinski will also be speaking at the AFCEA Signal Ball, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Seoul on Friday, April 28 to close out the three-day event. At the Signal Ball, Wiercinski plans to encourage the warfighters in attendance on the topics of leadership and professionalism in the U.S. Army.
