Transportation Systems (CTS), a business unit of Cubic Corporation
(NYSE:CUB), today announced the appointment of Dirk Van de
Meerssche, sales and marketing director of intelligent transport
systems and tolling for CTS-Asia Pacific, to the board of directors
at iMOVE Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) in Australia. The iMOVE CRC aims to reduce the
growing pressure on Australia's
transport systems by developing future technologies for smart
transportation and mobility.

million grant to help spearhead the development of
intelligent transport systems, including autonomous vehicles.
