SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Crocs Inc. said Thursday it does not
sell Crocs branded products to Costco Wholesale Corp. and has no plans to do so.
The company said it found instances where customers sold Crocs products
indirectly to Costco and "promptly terminated those relationships."
The Niwot, Colo.-based shoe and apparel company also reiterated that it has
segmented its distribution strategy "to maintain price integrity and enhance
brand equity."
The stock was trading down 97 cents, or 4.7%, at $19.50.
