Dow Jones News
LONDON--British food company Cranswick PLC (CWK.LN) said
Thursday strong volume growth and robust Christmas trading resulted
in higher third quarter revenue, compared with the prior year
period.
The pork and sausage producer also said it incurred higher input
costs in the three months to Dec. 31,2016, which were partially
mitigated by efficiency improvements, internal pig production and
constructive pricing talks with customers.
The company remains confident in its prospects for the remainder
part of fiscal 2017.
