COSI® Opens Newest Location at Seaport in Boston

Cosi® franchisee opens its 13^th Boston area location in the Seaport District

Boston, MA - June 30, 2014 - Cosi, Inc. (NASDAQ:  COSI), the fast-casual restaurant company, today announced that its largest franchisee, Hearthstone Associates, LLC, opened its newest restaurant in the Seaport District in Boston, Massachusetts.   "We are thrilled with the reception Cosi has received here in the Seaport District" said RJ Dourney, Cosi's CEO and President.   "Cosi opened to lines out the door on Friday afternoon."

This latest Cosi is the 13th in the Boston area for Hearthstone Associates.

"The Seaport is Boston's hottest neighborhood. With the Boston Children's Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and a host of other restaurants, Cosi is in great company," stated Dourney.

The newest Boston location comes on the heels of the franchisor's announcement that it will start serving naturally-raised, no-antibiotics-added chicken in all of its Boston locations starting today.

Cosi Seaport is located at 2 Seaport Lane Cosi and is open 7 days a week.
