French state-controlled power utility Electricite de France SA (EDF.FR) said Thursday that its overall revenue in the first nine months of the year was lifted mainly by its gas trading operations.

"EDF Says Favorable Natural Gas Pricing Lifts Revenue," at 0704GMT, misstated the period in the first paragraph. Revenue was from the first nine months of the year, not the third quarter.
