Conversion of C Ordinary Shares into Ordinary Shares
The Board of Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT PLC announces that the
calculation date for the final conversion of the C Ordinary Shares into Ordinary
Shares of 10 pence each was close of business on 30 November 2008.
The conversion ratio calculated in accordance with the Company's Articles of
Association was 1.185, and 1.185 new Ordinary Shares were allotted on 28
February 2009 for each C Ordinary Share.
Accordingly, the Board has issued 17,721,140 new Ordinary Shares which rank pari
passu with the existing Ordinary Shares, bringing the number of Ordinary Shares
in issue to 27,465,383 and this is also the total number of voting rights in the
Company. Trading in these additional shares is expected to commence on 6 March
2009.
Following the C share conversion, the C Ordinary Shares will be removed from the
Official List.
