Energy company supports championship tradition
of giving back through $500,000 in funding to nonprofit
organizations
Constellation, an Exelon company, announced today that it will
provide $500,000 in grants to eight Baltimore charities focused on
education, youth development and health care as part of its
sponsorship of this year’s Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS
Championship, which will be held July 11-16 at Caves Valley Golf
Club.
“Giving back to the communities we serve is one of
Constellation’s most important responsibilities and an important
part of the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship,” said Joseph
Nigro, CEO of Constellation. “This year we are especially proud to
be supporting organizations that are making a positive difference
in our hometown of Baltimore.”
Through its sponsorship of the Senior Players Championship,
Constellation has contributed $4.5 million since 2007 to nonprofit
organizations located in the event’s host cities including
