Multi-year sponsorship deal expands Constellation’s growing presence in Ohio

Constellation, a longtime competitive energy supplier in Ohio, today announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers Operating Company that extends to all teams in the Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena family, including the Cavaliers and Cleveland Gladiators (AFL), and names Constellation the “Season Presenting Sponsor” of Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters.

“The Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena family are thrilled to welcome Constellation as a presenting sponsor,” said Mike Ostrowski, vice president of franchise operations for the Cleveland Cavaliers and chief operating officer of the Monsters. “Their commitment to competition, innovative energy services and sustainability is a great fit for our organization and is sure to energize our fans this season.”

The agreement includes a range of marketing components with the Cavaliers, Monsters, Gladiators and Canton Charge, and names Constellation the “Official Energy Partner of the Canton Charge and Canton Memorial Civic Center.” As the Monsters’ presenting sponsor, Constellation will be the “Official Energy Partner of the Lake Erie Monsters” and the company’s name and logo will be incorporated into a dynamic assortment of team marketing and promotional elements.

Constellation currently serves more than 600,000 residential and business customers in Ohio. The company was recently selected by the City of Cleveland to provide electricity and the City of Cincinnati to provide natural gas to residents and small businesses through the state’s governmental aggregation program. Constellation also provides energy services and electricity supply to numerous commercial customers throughout Ohio including Fortune 100 corporations Owens Corning and Procter and Gamble, as well as the Quicken Loans Family Owned Horseshoe Cleveland casino, located in Cleveland’s historic Higbee Building.
