Order Care® Catalog Management application at
Management World 2008.
ConceptWave Order Care Catalog Management R5 (CM R5) is a
highly-configurable management solution that provides a product
catalogue for establishing customer-facing product offers, and a service
catalogue that drives the fulfillment of the underlying services. CM R5
provides composition, availability, eligibility, pricing, taxation,
promotions, up-sell/cross-sell functionality and lifecycle management
through a fully-integrated J2EE-based product platform. The service
catalog drives order decomposition and orchestration, technical order
translation and aliasing services.
CM R5 features production-proven functionality extracted and generalized
from successful deployments to support new generation service providers
offering complex product bundles and “multi-play”
services. As service providers migrate and transform their OSS to
support convergent and IT services, the ability to incorporate CM R5
into multi-catalogue environments is critical.
ConceptWave’s CM R5 aligns to the sequence
identifier (SID) and supports distinction between product, service and
resource catalogues. CM R5 defines and drives product-to-service order
decomposition and orchestration, supports aliasing facility to translate
nomenclature between systems and includes an SOA-based layer to provide
and consume services of external systems.
