FOSE 2008, the most comprehensive event for government information
technology (IT) professionals, today announced that it will have over
100 new products on display at this year’s
event. Scheduled for April 1-3, 2008 at the Walter E. Washington
Convention Center in Washington, DC, FOSE 2008 is the largest trade show
for government technology professionals. Now in its 32nd
year, FOSE 2008 is expected to attract more than 16,000 attendees and
feature more than 500 exhibitors.

solution, a revolutionary technology that creates “face-to-face”
meeting experiences
GigaBiter’s On-Site Secure Mobile
Electronic Destruction unit provides on-site secure mobile destruction
of classified or highly sensitive electronic information. It clears
all magnetic, flash memory, and optical media including hard drives,
tapes, CDs, PDAs, cell phones, motherboards, and laptops
High Performance Computing will showcase its HiPerStation 8000
high-end workstation that provides up to 32 cores and 256GB of memory,
and is targeted at customers with compute-intensive applications
Oberon’s Wireless Intrusion
Detection and Location System (WIDLS) is designed to detect and locate
Wi-Fi network intruders outdoors beyond typical wireless coverage areas
PacStar has teamed up with Cisco to co-develop a series of
software-enabled products that will provide the next generation of
enterprise and deployable communications infrastructure to the military
Verizon Wireless is introducing Fleet Administrator that allows
one to securely locate, monitor, and track all vehicles with ease
