DALLAS, June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* today
announced that wireline employees represented by the Communications
Workers of America have voted to ratify a three-year contract for
the AT&T Midwest region.
The tentative agreement was reached May
13 and was unanimously endorsed by the CWA bargaining
committee that spent over nine weeks working with the company's
bargaining team to reach a fair agreement.
The agreement covers about 12,000 employees in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. It is retroactive to April 12, 2015.
