NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of telecommunications equipment companies closed
mixed Tuesday as bad news from Alcoa and Advanced Micro Devices and ongoing
recession worries weighed on the broader market.
Here is how some key telecom equipment stocks performed Tuesday:
Cisco Systems Inc., up 2 cents to $23.96.
Alcatel-Lucent American Depository Shares, down 16 cents, or 2.5 percent, to
$6.25.
Nortel Networks Corp., down 38 cents, or 5 percent, to $7.17.
Juniper Networks Inc., down 3 cents to $23.43.
Ciena Corp., up 4 cents to $32.52.
