NEW YORK (AP) - Commercial bank stocks were mixed Thursday as Wall Street
weighed strong reports from the nation's retailers and a drop in jobless claims
last week against credit market concerns.
Here's how some shares of commercial banks traded:
National City Corp., flat at $5.35.
Wachovia Corp., up 1 cent to $21.59.
First Horizon National Corp., down 22 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $9.80.
Zions Bancorp., up 71 cents to $42.03.
