Grieve is a senior and proven marketing leader, with an extensive background in brand development, integrated marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, product management and marketing analytics. Most recently, he was executive vice president of global marketing and customer experience with Concur, a cloud-based software company recently acquired by SAP. Prior to Concur, Grieve led the growth of Creature, an internationally recognized creative and strategy agency based in Seattle and London. Earlier, he worked in a number of executive marketing roles with Corbis, Vitessa and Radical Entertainment. He started his career as an account executive with Silicon Valley PR leader, A&R Partners.

“I am delighted to welcome someone of Robson’s caliber to our team. He brings energy, creativity and experience to our marketing organization that will help us more firmly establish our brand promise and our solutions with our customers, and accelerate business growth,” said Templeton. “Today, Citrix is more confident than ever that our business strategy aligns with our customers’ top IT priorities for 2015 and beyond. The era of the software-defined workplace has arrived and we are looking forward to having Robson on board to help us get our message out to partners, customers and channels worldwide.”

“Citrix is in a unique position in the market, with both a strong track record of innovation and a brand built on delivering year in and year out for customers. The combination of these assets puts the company in a great position for the future,” said Grieve. “I’m excited to work with Mark and the team to execute on an ambitious vision for the company and for the ecosystem of customers and partners who get value from Citrix solutions every day.”

Grieve will be based in the company’s Santa Clara, Calif. headquarters.
