PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF FINANCIÈRE BFI OPTILAS S.A.S. ("BFi OPTiLAS")
POSTING OF SHAREHOLDER CIRCULAR
Further to yesterday's announcement regarding Acal's proposed acquisition of the
entire issued share capital of BFi OPTiLAS (the "Acquisition"), Acal posted to
its shareholders on 29 October 2009 a circular (the "Circular") describing
proposals for the Acquisition.
The Circular contains a notice of a general meeting of the Company to be held at
11 am on Thursday 19 November 2009 at 2 Chancellor Court, Occam Road, Surrey
Research Park, Guildford GU2 7AH (the "General Meeting"),at which Acal's
shareholders will vote on the Acquisition. Forms of Proxy for use at the
General Meeting have also been sent to shareholders.
Copies of the Circular are available for inspection during normal business hours
on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted) at both the
office of Lovells LLP, Atlantic House, Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2FG and the
Company's registered office from the date of this announcement up to and
including the date of the General Meeting.
In addition, a copy of the Circular has been submitted to the UKLA and will
shortly be available for inspection at the UKLA's document viewing facility,
which is situated at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
