As part of the evening's activities, Chrysler LLC's Chairman and CEO, Bob Nardelli accepted the Gerald S. Snyder Heart Award from owner and Chairman of the Washington Redskins, Dan Snyder. It is given to those who demonstrate commitment, leadership and dedication to improving the lives and enriching the spirit of others. "I would like to say thank you to Dan for this recognition in your father's name. I am grateful and honored for this award. And, to Larry and Shawn, for all of the hard work that you do for so many that are less fortunate. I have been blessed in my life and I want you to know that this award means I will continue to strive to be even more worthy by continuing to give back," Nardelli said. "On behalf of the 70,000 Chrysler employees and the Chrysler Foundation, we say thank you for this great honor."
