ABERDEEN INCOME AND GROWTH VCT PLC (THE COMPANY)
The senior executives of the private equity division of Aberdeen Asset Managers,
the Company's Manager, have completed a management buyout of that business and
have formed Maven Capital Partners UK LLP (Maven) as a specialist, independent
private equity investment manager. The business has been approved by the FSA.
The day to day running of the business and the core team involved in the
investment management and administration of Aberdeen Income and Growth VCT plc
will remain unaffected. Having reviewed the existing management contract and the
performance of the Manager, the Board has decided to novate the management
contract in favour of Maven, with effect from 9 June 2009.
