Mr. Toscano joins Centerplate from George P. Johnson, the international full service event planning and marketing organization. For the past six years, Mr. Toscano has been responsible for creating and implementing unique, high profile event and tradeshow programs for a number of high-profile Fortune 500 clients. Most recently, Mr. Toscano completed a 15,000-person event in Las Vegas for one of George P. Johnson's largest clients. He has also managed events ranging from 100-person executive events to 40,000-person tradeshows for some of Silicon Valley's most influential companies. Prior to that, Mr. Toscano managed a fine dining restaurant. At Centerplate, Toscano will be responsible for leading the company's catering sales professionals and expanding its event expertise.
