During New York afternoon deals on Thursday, the Canadian currency traded further higher against the US and Japanese currencies. The loonie is presently trading near fresh multi-month highs of 0.9870 against the greenback and 80.38 versus the yen, compared to Wednesday's North American session close of 0.9896 and 79.86, respectively.
