LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Cambium Global Timberland Ltd. said it
completed the acquisition of about 4,500 acres of leasehold interest of
timberland for about 4 million pounds.
The company said it expects the returns from the plantations at upper end of
the target.
The Pinnacle asset is located on the Big Island of Hawaii and complements
the Pahala asset also located on the Big Island.
Pinnacle is eucalyptus plantation and has an age-class distribution that
balances the Pahala project Cambium purchased in the fall of 2007.
The project will be managed by New Forests Asset Management.
