LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Viridas PLC (formerly Caldwell Investments PLC)
said it has raised 450,000 stg via a placing of 3.60 mln shares at 12.5 pence
each.
The company said its directors purchased an aggregate of 550,000 shares, or
a 2.8 pct stake.
Chairman and managing director Stanley Wootliff purchased 400,000 shares and
now holds 20.7 pct.
The company said group chief executive Fernando Lunardini bought 30,000
shares and now holds 0.1 pct, while non-executive director Keith M Robinson
bought 120,000 shares and now owns a 0.8 pct stake.
The company added that the funds raised will be used for additional working
capital and to finance further development activities in Brazil.
