Fixes stock price
NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - BioMimetic Therapeutics Inc Tuesday reported
third-quarter net loss of $5.6 million, or 31 cents per share, narrower than the
38 cent-a-share mean loss estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial.
Revenue rose to $1.7 million, above Wall Street's consensus view of $1.2
million.
In the same period a year earlier, the company lost $4.2 million or 27 cents
a share, on sales of $709,548.
The maker of bio-active drug-device combination products said it expects
total product revenue for 2007 of $5 million, excluding milestone payments and
royalty payments, with a year-end net loss of $24 million to $28 million.
The stock closed Tuesday at $11.58, up 27 cents.
