NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Thursday
reported a second-quarter net loss of C$1.11 billion, or C$3 a share, which
includes a loss of C$4.37 a share related to structured credit run-off
activities, among other charges.
Total revenue for the bank was C$126 million.
In the year-ago period, the company posted net income of C$807 million, or
C$2.27 a share, on revenue of C$3.05 billion.
Shares of Canadian Imperial closed Wednesday at C$70.85.
