NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - CDC Corp. reported late Wednesday
first-quarter adjusted earnings from continuing operations of $80,000, or
breakeven on a per-share basis, compared with $10.7 million, or 8 cents a share,
in the same period a year earlier.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters was for a loss of a
penny a share.
Revenue for the period ended March 31 rose to $98.3 million from last year's
$88 million. Analysts had expected $97.7 million.
Shares of the Beijing-based enterprise software and new media company closed
the regular session at $3.54.
