LONDON--Centrica PLC (CNA.LN) said Friday that its U.K. energy and home services provider British Gas is extending its price freeze for customers on its standard energy tariff until August.

Centrica shares at 1125 GMT up 1 pence, or 0.5%, at 234 pence, valuing the company at GBP12.82 billion.
