HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the case to keep wife killer Rafael Robb, the former University of Pennsylvania professor, behind bars until the last day of his 10-year sentence will be taken from the Montgomery County Courthouse directly to the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (PBPP).

One day after joining early release opponents, including Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and State Rep. Mike Vereb (Montgomery County) in Norristown, Gary L. Gregory, Ellen Gregory Robb's brother, and his legal team will testify before the PBPP and urge it to reject Robb's final bid for release before his sentence expires in 2017. Robb fatally bludgeoned Ms. Gregory Robb in 2006 as she was wrapping Christmas presents in the couple's Montgomery County home. He never stood trial for the killing; instead pleading guilty to manslaughter and received the maximum 10-year sentence.
