FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Bono, U2 frontman and outspoken advocate of
aid for Africa, said he aims to win Adidas AG for his Project Red campaign,
Tagesspiegel reported.
"We are at a very early stage, but I just like the idea," Bono told the
newspaper, according to an excerpt of an interview to be published tomorrow.
Project Red enlists corporations to donate proceeds of products made under
the Red brand to humanitarian efforts in Africa. Among companies that developed
products for the Red brand are Apple, Motorola, Armani and Gap.
