BOISE, Idaho, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Boise Office Equipment now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX) and has added Xerox document technology and services to its offerings for customers in the Treasure Valley and the Magic Valley areas of Idaho. This follows Xerox's $1.5 billion acquisition this month of Global Imaging Systems, Inc., Boise Office Equipment's parent company.
Boise Office Equipment retains its name and locally focused independent approach to sales, service and customer support. In addition to current offerings, Boise Office Equipment is ramping up to provide a broad range of Xerox systems and supplies. These offerings include Xerox's launch this year of 16 competitively priced products designed for offices of any size, such as new WorkCentre(R) multifunction devices that print, copy, fax and scan, as well as Phaser(R) solid ink color printers and multifunction devices.
