industry veteran to advisory role
Blue Marble Game Company today announced the appointment of
Melanie Hardin to the role of Senior Advisor. Blue Marble Game Co,
with its emphasis on the development of therapeutic neurogaming
software has been in growth mode since its incubation at the
Business Technology Center in 2014. The latest in a run of
executive appointments, Ms. Hardin, who is a partner in the San
Marino Venture Group, will focus her efforts on advising on growth
strategy, marketing and potential funding opportunities as well as
executive coaching.

ABOUT MELANIE HARDIN:
Melanie Hardin was most recently Executive Vice President of
Investment Platform Solutions and strategic growth for LPL
Financial. LPL Financial is the largest independent broker dealer
in the US, with more than 13,500 financial advisors and
approximately 700 financial institutions and over $450B in assets.
Melanie led the strategic expansion of LPL’s comprehensive wealth
management services, which include the fee-based platforms, due
diligence, field marketing support, and strategic relationship
management with investment companies to attract assets to LPL’s
custodial platform.
Ms. Hardin has more than 25 years of financial services,
business management experience. Prior to joining LPL Financial in
2010, she worked for Automatic Data Processing as Division Vice
President for Strategy and Business Development with a special
focus on new revenue, products, and opportunities.. In this role,
Melanie was responsible for developing and launching products and
product extensions for a $1.2 billion Tax division. Before ADP, Ms.
Hardin was previously a Director and Chief Executive Officer of the
newly organized Charles Schwab, U.K., Limited, approved by the
Financial Services Authority as a securities and options dealer to
provide US securities business for the UK private investor market.
Earlier, she was Vice President of Market Development for Wells
Fargo Bank. Ms. Hardin earned an MBA from the Yale School of
Management and a Bachelor of Science in business administration
from the University of San Francisco. Melanie is a member of the
Strategic Advisory Board for FTV Capital, a growth equity
investment firm and she is a partner in the San Marino Venture
Group.
